Step 1: Book Your Recovery
Call us, or complete the online booking form. This should take under 5 minutes and will get your data recovery job logged with us.
We will get in touch to arrange for your device to be collected on a day that suits you. You also have the option to take the parcel to a DPD Local drop-off point.
For rush orders, you are welcome to bring your device to our customer drop-off point in Mildenhall, Suffolk.
Pack & Send
When sending your device with DPD Local, we will provide a label for you to print and attach to the box, it couldn’t be simpler.
Ensure that you package your device well, so that no damage occurs during transit.
We’ll let you know as soon as we receive your device.
Step 2: Device Evaluation
Your device will usually be assessed the same day by one of our data recovery specialists.
Sending the device to us for recovery is agreeing to pay for the Standard service. If we can recover the data under this service, we will proceed immediately with the work required.
If an Advanced or Genius service is required we will discuss our findings with you and seek your approval.
If you are happy to proceed we will begin the recovery process. If not, your device will be returned to you with nothing to pay.
Step 3: Recovery
If your recovery only requires our standard service (or we get your approval to continue with an advanced or premium service) your data will be recovered by one of our experienced data recovery specialists.
This process normally takes 1-2 working days, and we’ll keep you updated with our progress.
If an Advanced or Genius recovery is required, we might need a little more time to complete the recovery.
Turnaround times can be dependent on the availability of parts and how quickly we can access the data. We’ll stay in touch with updates throughout this time.
Once the data has been recovered it will be copied onto an encrypted external USB hard drive ready for return to you.
A secure copy of your data will be held on-site for 30 days, and then securely deleted.
Step 4: Returning Your Data
Ready to Return
We’ll get in touch when your data recovery is complete.
Payment for the service is requested at this stage.
Payment can be made via bank transfer, credit card or debit card.
When payment has been confirmed your device and your recovered data will be returned to you by the method selected when making your booking.
